Custom Name Tool

A generative tool that lets users personalise a 3D render using Nano Banana Pro by typing in a custom name. I converted my node setup into a simple app interface, giving users control over just the name input. It’s a client-friendly way to create and iterate on visuals quickly, without exposing the full complexity of the scene.

Prompt used:

Use the uploaded reference image as the fixed master composition.

Do not redesign or reinterpret the image.Keep exactly the same:

- camera angle

- lighting

- reflections

- transparent bead material

- glitter texture

- depth of field

- background colour

- colour palette of beads

- overall visual style

- premium macro photography feeling

Keep the same horizontal friendship bracelet composition.

Important constraints:

1. Full name must be usedYou must include EVERY letter from the provided name.Do not shorten, skip, or approximate the name. There must be exactly:- one bead per letterIf the name contains 8 letters, there must be 8 letter beads. This is mandatory.

2. Bead structureThe bracelet must always include:- one heart bead at the beginning- one heart bead at the endThese heart beads must remain unchanged in style and colour. The letter beads should sit between them.

3. Bead count and layoutIf the name is longer than the reference:- extend the bracelet by adding more beads- keep spacing consistent- keep the same visual rhythmDo not compress or overlap beads.

4. Camera adjustmentIf more beads are added:- slightly zoom out to fit the full bracelet in frameDo not change the camera angle.Do not crop out beads.

5. Letter format- use uppercase letters only- ensure all letters are upright and readable

6. Material and colour consistencyDo not invent new colours.Use only colours from the original reference image.Keep:- same bead transparency- same glossiness- same lighting behaviour- same reflections- same colour style

7. Integration qualityThe new letters must feel fully embedded in the beads, not overlaid. They must match:- scale- thickness- lighting- shadows- perspectiveThe final image should look like the original photo was created with the new name.

Only change:

- letters

- number of beads (if required)

- slight zoom to fit composition

Do not change anything else.

Things Left Unsaid

Things Left Unsaid is an interactive web experience where users type something they regret never telling someone onto a bracelet, cut the thread, and release the beads into a shared anonymous archive.

I used Google AI Studio to build the experience, shaping both the interaction and behaviour through prompting. The focus was on creating a minimal, intentional system where a simple action carries emotional weight.

AI to 3D Texture Workflow

I used Imagen 4 Fast to generate a petal image, which I then turned into a series of maps and used in Redshift to build the final texture on my tulip render in 3D. It's an example of how I'm weaving AI into my existing 3D workflow.

3D still to animation prompt:

A beautiful blue tulip slowly freezing over. A magical, creeping frost overtakes the petals, turning them stiff and icy. Time-lapse effect of winter settling onto the flower, with tiny ice spikes growing outward. 4k resolution, crisp focus.

Add a very slight, trembling breeze at the beginning of the animation that slowly stops as the flower freezes completely solid, emphasizing the transition from a living plant to frozen ice.
